Dialaw October Newletter - OBD Money Transferred

Despite lots of floods this rainy season and being hampered by power cuts, progress on the Dialaw Music Centre has been considerable. Thanks to the generosity of Old Blind Dogs fans we have just sent a further contribution to the project of £530 UK Sterling and $500 US Dollars.

We will continue to hold our Djembe raffles throughout the winter and will be performing a concert in Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on January 23rd 2009 with the highly revered Senegalese singer and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Youssou N’Dour who will visit the UK for a one-off show. We will of course use the concert to highlight our efforts to help the community in Dialaw.
