To mark their birthday, the venue Woodend Barn near Banchory in Scotland have asked Jonny Hardie from Old Blind Dogs to collect a group of stellar folk musicians from across Scotland - Douglas Montgomery and Brian Cromarty (Saltfishforty and The Chair), Brian McAlpine (Session A9), Mary Macmaster (The Poozies) and Davy Cattanach (ex-Old Blind Dogs, The Pictones and Catford) - and make a new album of music.
Baptised The Woodend Barnstormers, everyone is raring to go but Woodend Barn need to raise some money to make it happen. If you pledge some money you can support this great project and receive all manner of wondrous things in return. Perhaps you'd like a pre-release copy of the CD? Or even a pre-release copy of the CD with your name on the credits? We have places on a fiddle masterclass with Jonny and Douglas or on a harp masterclass with Mary. We've even got a champagne and canapés reception planned for the launch night of the CD at the end of September.
